Related to the question of forms of government, we can ask if the Bible sanctions any particular form of economics. For example, it does seem that the Bible supports the notion of private property. The current debate in the West between socialists and capitalists forces us to ask the question, “Is capitalism Christian?” The issue is not going away anytime soon. It would be great is one of our dispensational scholars examined this question along biblical and theological lines and presented their conclusions at the upcoming Council.
