Welcome to the CDH!
The Council on Dispensational Hermeneutics was started in 2008 to provide a forum for discussion among traditional-dispensational thinkers in the important areas of hermeneutics and theological method. Issues related to biblical interpretation have been broadly discussed in several forums, however, there was no official forum, for traditional-dispensational thinkers to discuss issues among themselves. The Council was inaugurated to meet that particular need. CDH convenes a two-day meeting annually in September rotating between various locations throughout North America. In addition to welcoming scholars, leaders, students, and community members, local pastors are warmly invited to attend the meetings so that the discussions among the academic community can be grounded in every day ministry concerns.

Statement on Recent Attacks on Jewish People: It is Time to Take a Stand
by Dr. Mike Stallard It is obvious to any honest person that antisemitism is on the rise. In the aftermath of the October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel, everything seems to be blamed on Israel instead of the terrorist group HAMAS, whose end goal is the elimination of Jews...
Israel and Iran at War
By Dr. Mike Stallard June 15, 2025 It would be quite natural and correct to assume that, since my primary ministry is with the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, I support the nation of Israel on most occasions. While I do not believe in “Israel, right or wrong” in...

Why Does God Delay? Answer #2
In 2 Peter 3, the second answer to those who mock the fact that there appears to be a delay in the Second Coming is that God is not bound by time like you and me (vv. 8-9). This truth is stated in two ways. First, “with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a...
Why Does God Delay? Answer #1
In John 14:3, Jesus told his disciples, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (NKJV). Near the end of the Bible, Jesus promises, “Surely I am coming quickly” (Rev. 22:20). Thus,...
The HAMAS Attack Upon Israel
The events of October 7, 2023, should disturb every sane person. When the Hamas terrorists targeted and attacked Jewish and other civilians in Israel, they did so brutally in order to send a message. However, Israel’s response sent a louder message that the end of...
